Super Mario Sunshine - 8/26/2002
Jr's first appearance. He is the secondary antagonist and primary nuisance in the plot following Bowser lying to him and telling him that Mario is a bad man who fights dirty, having stolen Princess Peach (who he also says is Jr's mother) away. Jr uses a magic paintbrush the he received from Professor E. Gadd to frame Mario for the pollution and vandalism of Isle Delfeno. He then takes Princess Peach and antagonizes Mario while telling him to stay away from his mama. He is later defeated alongside Bowser in their giant hot tub above a volcano. Bowser later confesses his lie to Jr, but Jr admits to already knowing and expresses the desire to fight Mario again someday.
